TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That would round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
